Ambuja Foundation · Security Guard Skill Academy
Yes — worth a call this week. New initiative, announced within the window, in a target expansion geography.
Ambuja Foundation, in partnership with the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, has launched a dedicated Security Guard Skill Academy in Chirawa, Rajasthan. Building on vocational training provided since 2021 at the Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI), the academy will train youth from several northern and central Indian states in unarmed security and fire and safety. Ambuja Foundation reports that past training at SEDI Chirawa achieved a 94 percent placement rate across more than 20 placement partners.
Fact: The academy provides vocational skilling and job placement for rural youth in security and safety disciplines in Chirawa, Rajasthan, with past placements across multiple states. Interpretation: Although aligned with skilling and youth employment, the programme is self-implemented by Ambuja Foundation and NSF in northern/central India, offering no evident partner opportunities for an education NGO in Pune.
No request for NGO partners stated. The academy is operated collaboratively by Ambuja Foundation at its own SEDI facility with Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation. There is no mention of or invitation for external NGO implementation partners.
File for institutional intelligence; do not initiate outreach as this is an internally executed academy in Rajasthan with no partner RFP.
“In association with NSF, Ambuja Foundation has trained over 600 young men and women at Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) Chirawa in the security guard course only, achieving a placement rate of 94 per cent with 20+ placement partners across Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and Telangana.”
